Honda Australia adds Jazz and CR-V +Sport limited editions

Honda Australia has started the 2019 financial year with two new special edition products to enhance their lineup. Based on the Jazz light car and CR-V medium SUV, the +Sport limited editions add extra standard equipment and enhanced value for money, according to the manufacturer.

Now in Honda dealerships, the +Sport limited edition models are claimed to add up to $4,100 in extra value for shoppers. 240 Jazz +Sport editions are available, whilst 900 CR-V +Sports will be available as well.

“As a brand we will always have a lineup that is strong, excellent value-for-money and right for the Australian market, all built with the Honda DNA of world-class engineering, reliability and functionality. In between, where possible we add in limited edition models which have always been popular with our customers as they represent even better value for money for a limited time,” said Mr. Stephen Collins, Director, Honda Australia.

“I know our customers will once again see that value in our limited edition Jazz +Sport and CR-V +Sport, both of which are on sale from today.”

For CR-V owners, the +Sport edition is available for $35,490 drive away. Based on the entry level CR-V VTi, the +Sport adds a claimed $4,100 of extra value including 18-inch alloy wheels, Honda’s LaneWatch side blind-spot monitoring camera, front and rear parking sensors, rear privacy glass, a black sports grille and, naturally, a +Sport badge. The CR-V +Sport is available in four different colours – Passion Red Pearlescent, Lunar Silver Metallic, White Orchid Pearlescent and Modern Steel Metallic

This is on top of the CR-V VTi’s standard equipment list, which includes keyless entry and start with automatic walkaway locking, dual-zone climate control air conditioning, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, electric-folding mirrors and a 140kW/240Nm 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired to a CVT automatic and a front-wheel drive drivetrain.

The Jazz +Sport is based on the mid-grade VTi-S, and is priced from $20,590 plus on-road costs. In addition to the LED headlights, electric-folding mirrors, inbuilt satellite navigation, a reversing camera and a leather-wrapped steering wheel of the VTi-S, the +Sport adds gloss black 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, a gloss black rear plate garnish and a +Sport badge. The Jazz +Sport is available in White Orchid Pearlescent, Phoenix Orange Pearlescent, Rally Red and Crystal Black Pearlescent.

Honda claims that the Jazz +Sport adds $1,600 of extra value for a $600 extra spend over the VTi-S on which it’s based. The Jazz +Sport shares the regular Jazz’s 88kW/145Nm, and is matched to a CVT automatic transmission. Like all new Honda models in Australia, both the Jazz and CR-V +Sport editions are covered by a five-year/unlimited km warranty with five years of roadside assistance.
