The last VL Commodore SS Group A Walkinshaw found after 40 years in storage

The last Walkinshaw VL is expecting to fetch a pretty penny

  • Stag Auto Solutions will be handling the sale of this rare vehicle, which is listed on their website with the price guide of price on application. Meaning if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford this rare beast.

  • Ahead of the GEN4 update, an interim generational update sees power output raised to 350kW, the addition of four-wheel-drive capabilities, and recovery of up to 600kW.
  • This latest car boosts performance levels by a claimed 36 per cent, with a claimed 0-100km/h time coming in at just 1.82 seconds.

Jeep Avenger reviewed

  • Chasing Cars Deputy Editor Curt Dupriez written review of the 2025 Jeep Avenger was published, including his findings on whether the FWD electric Jeep is worth the asking price.
  • Curt found the Jeep Avenger to be a fun vehicle to steer and that the interior packaging was quite well executed despite the modest four-metre long size.

  • On the downsides, the Avenger does have quite modest high-voltage credentials and the price of entry is quite high, especially in the flagship Summit variant’s $67K on-road proposition.
  • Off-road ability of the electric Avenger hasn’t been tested yet, however Chasing Cars is looking forward to seeing how far a front-driven Jeep can go in the rough stuff.
