  • The Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ cabriolet is powered by a 330kW/560Nm 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder petrol, mated to a conventional nine-speed automatic. Pricing starts at $175,600 before on-road costs – a $16,700 increase over the coupe.

  • Standard offerings of the CLE 53 4MATIC+ cabriolet include a distinct AMG grille, 20-inch wheels, bonnet bulges, and an 11.9-inch infotainment screen with power-tilt feature that Mercedes says reduces glare when the roof is open.

Mazda EZ-60 confirmed for Chinese market

  • Underneath the distinct Mazda exterior styling is the Changan EPA1 platform, which is also common to the Deepal S07 SUV. Key elements include a 190kW rear-mounted electric motor, 80kWh battery pack and claimed 475km combined range (WLTP).
2025 Mazda EZ-60
  • Reportedly, the Mazda EZ-60 mid-size SUV has set its sights on rivalling the Tesla Model Y. The ace up Mazda’s sleeve is in the form of next-generation lithium-ion batteries produced in partnership with Panasonic.

  • Currently, there are no plans to bring the EZ-60 to Australia, despite the related Deepal S07 already being available in the domestic market. The introduction of the EZ-60 would bring a familiar brand and design language to Australian consumers.

2025 Ford Tourneo Active Reviewed

  • Chasing Cars contributor Iain Curry’s review of the 2025 Ford Tourneo Active was published, discussing its excellent visibility and evidently commercial roots.

  • Curry was impressed by the Tourneo’s 854kg payload and 2500kg braked towing capacity, which outclasses its Kia Carnival rival. The Tourneo also proved to be incredibly versatile for transporting several passengers.

  • The Tourneo suffered a stiff ride at slow speeds around town, harking to its commercial roots. The four-cylinder diesel engine also has to work hard to move the Tourneo up hills, even with just a driver inside.

  • Whilst the Kia Carnival continues to prevail as the family MPV of choice for Curry, he stipulated that buyers frequently transporting large loads or 8-adults will be better suited to the Tourneo.
