  • Select and Sportline versions of the 2025 second-generation Škoda Kodiaq SUV will be entering showrooms late next month, according to an official press release.
  • The Select replaces the outgoing Style as the entry grade, fitting 19-inch wheels and a new-gen 13-inch media system.

  • The mid-range Sportline ups wheel size to 20 inches and adds dynamic rear indicators, sport seats, driving profile selection, premium sound.
  • Powered by a 140kW 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol four, the Kodiaq fits a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive. Further details will be released closer to launch.

Isuzu expands MU-X line-up with introduction of facelifted 2025 models

  • Isuzu has just revealed the updated 2025 MU-X, at a recent launch event (full coverage on the way). While we won’t see more powerful engines, or large mechanical changes, interior and exterior revisions make up the bulk of new information.
  • Pricing for the 2025 MU-X starts from $56,990 for the rear-wheel drive 1.9L LS-M, and tops out at $73,990 drive-away for the 4×4 3.0L powered X-Terrain.

  • The addition of the X-Terrain variant is a big update for the 2025 MU-X wagon range, a first for the MU-X nameplate after the recipe was ported over from the D-Max ute range.
  • The X-Terrain version is based on the LS-T MU-X, and receives bespoke exterior and interior updates, including leather-accented upholstery and a more aggressive grille design. This vehicle is aimed at customers wanting a capable off-roader that is also well-appointed features wise.

Subaru Australia debuts the manual WRX AWD tS Spec B

  • Subaru Australia has bolstered its turbo all-paw WRX model with a new AWD tS Spec B variant added for 2025.
  • Specific to the new variant are matte grey 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes with ventilated discs, Recaro front seats and a huge, old-school style boot spoiler.

  • The AWD tS Spec B is powered by the familiar 2.4-litre turbo boxer engine backed by a six-speed manual gearbox. While Subaru hasn’t highlighted any powertrain upgrades to the variant, the importer has revealed that an STI Performance muffler system will be offered optionally.
  • Pricing and final specifications are yet to be confirmed, but outlay is expected to sail north of $60K given the 2024 tS automatic listed for $57,990.

2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron reviewed

  • Curt praised the quietness, refinement levels and comfort offered. He also took a shine to the bottle holders, while favouring the low-grade 45 in Sportback body style of the four available variants.
  • He wasn’t so impressed with the soggy brake feel, haptic touch controls and hefty curb weight however. Pricing for the 55 also seems overpriced
  • In saying that, Curt’s conclusion was that out of every EV sitting under the Luxury Car Tax threshold, the Q4 E-Tron, in 45 guise, is one of the best if not the best choice out there currently.
