Zeekr 009 2025: Australian pricing and specifications

 

Chinese challenger brand has opened its order books for its all-electric people mover, the 009, which is due shortly in Australia 


Chinese automaker Zeekr has announced the Australian pricing and specifications for its luxurious 009 electric people mover.

Set to start from $135,900 before on-road costs, the 009 will compete against other electric people movers such as LDV’s Mifa 9, or combustion competitors like the popular Kia Carnival

The Zeekr 009 shares its platform with the Volvo EM90

The 009 shares its DNA with the upcoming Volvo EM90 van and uses the SEA1 Sustainable Experience Architecture platform. 

It’s the second model for Zeekr to launch locally, following on from the X electric SUV

Pre-orders are now open for the model in Australia. 

The 009 will follow the X SUV to market in Australia

Powertrain, battery and electric range

Starting with the battery, the Zeekr 009 uses a very large 116kWh CATL battery pack which feeds electricity to two electric motors – one on each axle – to produce maximum outputs of 450kW/693Nm

With all that power and torque, the Zeekr 009 is capable of sprinting to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. 

Standard equipment includes three screens in the cabin

Electric range for the 009 is up to 582km (WLTP), with the model able to be charged up to 205kW DC, or 11kW with AC power. The model also comes standard with vehicle-to-load functionality (V2L).
