The Q4 E-tron will join the fully-electric Q8 E-tron SUV and the Audi E-tron sports coupe in Australia from mid-year 2024
Audi Australia has officially confirmed it will bring its midsized Q4 E-tron electric SUV to local shores.
The brand confirmed the news during the first official look at the brand’s rebranded Q8 E-tron electric SUV during the Melbourne EV Show.
Having been on-sale in Europe since June 2021, the Q4 E-tron sits on the Volkswagen Group MEB platform that also underpins such vehicles as the Cupra Born and the Skoda Enyaq.
This new model will be the third electric offering by Audi Australia as it works to electrify its fleet globally by 2033.
Audi Australia has confirmed that the Q4 e-tron will launch in the middle of 2024, and will be available in either SUV or Sportback body styles.
Audi says it hasn’t yet confirmed exact details of specification, however in its major European market, the Q4 E-tron is currently available in 35, 40, 45 and 50 designations.
Usable battery size ranges from 52kWh to 76.6kWh, and power and torque outputs of up to 220kW/460Nm with a dual-motor setup are available.
The maximum electric range for the Q4 E-tron is 412km (WLTP).
Exact pricing for the Q4 E-tron in Australia is yet to be confirmed, but should be revealed early next year.
