A3 and S3 (updated models)

Audi’s luxury and sporty small car combo are updated for 2025.

Standard equipment is bolstered with an S-line interior package that includes sports seats (with electric adjustment for the driver) and perforated leather steering wheel (with ‘S’ logo) that was previously an option. The 35TFSI also gains a larger, 12.3-inch digital driver cluster.

Design changes are otherwise subtle, with the A3 adopting sportier front and rear bumpers, and new-look four-rings logo. Both the A3 and S3 feature a re-profiled grille.

The S3 gains extra power and torque for the 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder – up 17kW and 20Nm to 245kW/420Nm. The S3 also gains the torque splitter feature from the RS3 which can divert engine torque to whichever wheel has the best traction, plus larger front brakes.

A5 and S5

Vehicle type: Midsize sedan and wagon
Launch ETA: First half of 2025

In accordance with Audi’s new “even numbers for EVs” naming convention, the combustion-powered A4 will now be known as the A5. 

The new A5 and S5 are built on Audi’s PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) platform, with mild-hybrid powerplants available across the model range. Improvements to steering, handling, braking and suspension are integral parts of the new platform, says Audi.

The A5 offers the following powerplants: A 110kW or 150kW variant of the 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, a 150kW 2.0-litre TDI diesel, and, for the range-topping S5, a 270kW 3.0-litre TFSI Petrol engine. Prices are not yet confirmed, but expect to pay about $80,000 for the base model. 

A major step-up on interior tech is the 11.9-inch driver display, 14.5-inch main screen, and optional 10.9-inch passenger display.

RSQ8 Performance

Audi enters Formula 1 in 2026 and it used this year’s Australian Grand Prix to debut its most powerful combustion model yet – the 471kW RSQ8 Performance.

Over the outgoing standard RSQ8, the twin-turbo petrol V8 gains 30kW, with torque increasing from 800 to 850Nm. That in turn lowers the sporty SUV’s 0-100km/h sprint ability by two-tenths to 3.6 seconds.

The price tag is also beefed up, however, with the Audi RSQ8 Performance priced from $255,800 before on-road costs – a $27,500 jump over the non-Performance model.

E-Tron GT (updated model)

Launch ETA: 2nd quarter 2025

Audi will release a revised e-Tron GT in mid-2025, with S, RS and RS Performance variants to be offered. 

The E-Tron GT lineup will be faster than ever, with the S, RS, and RS Performance boasting power figures of 500kW/740Nm, 630kW/865Nm, and 680kW/1027Nm respectively. In its most powerful configuration, the E-Tron GT can shift from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds. 

Prestige within the Audi E-Tron moves beyond the Audi brand, with Porsche aiding in suspension design: Adaptive dual-chamber air suspension with dual-valve dampers will lean and pitch the vehicle via an internal computer to give the driver optimal suspension geometry in any conditions.

Q5 and SQ5

Launch ETA: Third quarter (late 2025 for Sportback and SQ5)

The Q5 is Audi’s best-selling model is Audi Australia’s biggest launch of the year. Why? Audi Australia has confirmed that the new 2025 Q5, Q5 Sportback and SQ5 will come on sale in late 2025. Built on the PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) platform, the new Q5 range will feature all-new interior and exterior appointments, as well as hybrid capability.

The new Q5 range is already on sale in international markets, with L4 and V6 petrol or diesel powerplants with mild-hybrid support. Although the base-model price for Australia is currently unknown, we anticipate it to be around $70,000 before on-road costs.

Across the range, the third-generation Q5 gains more head and legroom for occupants, angular modern styled front and rear bumpers, and a “human centric” interior with 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit,14.5-inch MMI touch display, and optional 10.9-inch MMI Passenger Display.

A6 and S6 E-Tron

Launch ETA: Mid 2025

Replacing the outgoing petrol and diesel A6 range, Audi’s A6 e-tron range will soon be available in Australia. The A6 e-tron will be offered as either a ‘Sportback’ body style or wagon. 

The new generation EV A6 will be available in four variants with varying battery sizes, performance, and range figures.

A rear-drive A6 Performance will offer the longest WLTP range of 750km, while the sporty, all-wheel-drive S6 naturally delivers the most power with 405kW.

Built on Audi’s new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) Platform, all variants will support rapid DC charging, 800V architecture, lower total weights and greater efficiency compared to previous Audi EV’s.

2026 Audi Q3
