Could this be the new toughest mid-size pickup on the market? Ford Australia is confident
it will be

Ford Australia has just announced the news of their latest vehicle release. Due in 2026, we can expect to see the Ford Ranger Super Duty. Ford has been collaborating behind the scenes with fleet customers, with the end goal being the delivery of a vehicle that offers more capability off-road as well as being a stronger workhorse on the job site.

The key points we know so far indicate the engineering and design process was largely focussed on delivering a mid-size truck that can do more. Meaning, it can legally tow more than most four-wheel drives on the market, as well as carry more weight.

Enhanced off-road capability is high on the list, which is terrific news for those looking for an off-road capable vehicle with higher load carrying ability. Speaking of the target market, Ford tells us emergency service operators, farmers, utilities, forestry workers and mine sites, as well as recreational four-wheel drivers will be the key market for the Ranger Super Duty.
