The Jaguar GT concept spearheading the British brand’s polarising rebrand has been leaked online ahead of its official unveiling in Miami.
Images that have surfaced online look consistent with teaser pictures previously released by the company of its dramatic low-slung, long-bonneted coupe.
It will transform into a production four-door GT in 2026 as part of a three-model line-up heralding a new Jaguar era as an all-electric luxury car maker.
Bluff front and rear ends each feature slatted grilles, while invisible windscreen pillars create a wraparound, racing-helmet look for the GT’s glasshouse.
There’s no rear window, in keeping with the latest vehicle trend, with rear vision provided by cameras positioned behind the front wheels.
Jaguar’s new logo promotion caused a stir recently when it was unveiled, though its “Copy nothing” tagline hasn’t quite worked here with the company following many other car makers in having a major model revealed prematurely.
It’s fair to say the concept looks like no other Jaguar before it, even if the long bonnet nods to bigger-engined Jags of yesteryear.
The Jaguar GT concept is revealed officially at the Miami Art Week at noon AEST, Tuesday 3rd December.
