A petrol V8-powered P530 First Edition variant will come to Australia at a price of $241,021 before on-road costs
Chasing Cars can confirm that Australian buyers will be offered a high-performance BMW-sourced petrol V8 version of the new Range Rover Sport at a price of $241,021 before on-road costs.
Delivered in fully-specified First Edition form, the petrol V8 model will sit above the $196,360 D350 diesel First Edition.
Land Rover Australia confirmed to Chasing Cars that the pricing for the P530 is correct as of the time of publishing.
The new Range Rover Sport is scheduled to be released in Australia in late 2022, but petrol models won’t get to Australia until 2023.
Meanwhile, the new Range Rover – the flagship, non-Sport model – will arrive locally in the coming months with a range of petrol and diesel engines.
The P530 is the most powerful version of the Range Rover Sport to be coming to Australia so far, with 390kW of power and 700Nm of torque thanks to a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
Standard specification for this First Edition model is extensive and includes four-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-deploying door handles, adaptive air suspension, 23-inch alloy wheels, carbon fibre interior trim and an electrically-deployable tow bar.
A head-up display, keyless entry, leather multifunction steering wheel, a 13.1-inch touchscreen, 22-way power front seats, toughened rear and side glass, tyre-pressure monitoring, a twin-speed transfer box and wireless charging are also standard.
All prices listed are before on-road costs.
