Only 150 of the 10th anniversary special edition BRZs are coming to Australia, so if you want one, you’d better act now
Subaru Australia has announced it will bring just 150 special edition BRZs to Australia for the 10th anniversary celebration of the model.
First deliveries are expected to take place from February 2023, and all 150 BRZs will be painted in the iconic Subaru world rally (WR) blue colour.
Subaru encourages interested parties to place their pre-order quickly. The first allocation of second-gen Subaru BRZs sold out within the first two months of being on sale, so expect these special editions to sell out quickly.
Pricing starts from $43,090 before on-road costs for the manual variant, while the automatic version will cost $46,890 before on-road costs.
The 10th Anniversary cars command a $1500 premium over the coupe S manual and automatic cars from which the special editions are based.
Subaru started with the Coupe S variant to make the 10th anniversary special edition car and added embossed door trim, blue interior stitching, blue perforations in the seats, black 18-inch alloy wheels, black door mirror caps and a black rear badge.
A numbered badge inside the vehicle adds some commemorative sentiment to the interior.
The current power outputs of 173kW/250Nm from the 2.4-litre petrol flat-four engine have unfortunately not been changed for the special edition.
All prices listed are before on-road costs.
