The Corolla Cross small SUV is now four years old and is getting a new look, but it hasn’t been confirmed for Australia
Toyota has just debuted a facelifted Corolla Cross small SUV for the Thailand market.
The model first debuted in 2020, and will now receive a refreshed look for the 2024 model year.
The biggest difference over the existing Corolla Cross is the addition of a new honeycomb-patterned grille with a body-coloured finish and new ‘crystalised’ LED headlights that also feature sequential indicators.
The remaining features of the popular small SUV remain unchanged for its region.
The facelifted car retains the same engines as before, along with the option of either an 8.0-inch or 10.5-inch centre touchscreen.
At this point in time, Toyota Australia has not confirmed the facelifted Corolla Cross for our local market.
The Corolla Cross competes with other small SUVs in a popular segment with the likes of the Subaru Crosstrek, Volkswagen T-Roc and the Toyota Yaris Cross, among others.
The Corolla Cross is currently available in Australia in both petrol and petrol-hybrid guises, with three trim levels: GX, GXL and Atmos.
The 2.0-litre petrol cars produce 126kW/202Nm, while the petrol-hybrid engine produces 146kW/190Nm.
As standard, the current, Australian-delivered Corolla Cross GX includes:
The GXL adds additional features such as:
The flagship Atmos adds:
