First landing in Ti and Veloce forms, the recently updated Stelvio is available to purchase now
Alfa Romeo has announced pricing for the facelifted Stelvio SUV, which is available to purchase at dealerships now.
Starting from $76,450 before on-road costs, the Ti is now the entry point into the Stelvio range, with the mid-level Veloce starting from $82,950 before on-road costs.
Like the pre-facelift model, it’s likely that this updated Stelvio will face competition from the likes of the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC and the Porsche Macan.
Though Alfa Romeo Australia hasn’t announced pricing for the range-topping Quadrifoglio model, it was noted that it is due to land in Australian dealerships between October and December of this year.
As pricing of the Stelvio Veloce has remained unchanged at $82,950, the updated Quadrifoglio could also retain its price of $160,700 before on-road costs.
Like the newly facelifted Giulia sedan, the biggest changes that have come to the Stelvio SUV are housed within the front fascia.
Here, the SUV wears new LED Matrix headlights, alongside a new finish across the three air intakes.
Standard kit on the outside of the Stelvio includes 19-inch wheels on the entry-level Ti and 20-inch alloys on the Veloce.
The Veloce grade on the Stelvio adds red brake calipers, a dark front bezel and a bespoke rear diffuser.
On the inside, the biggest change is the new 12.3-inch digital cluster, which is flanked by the 8.8-inch infotainment screen. Satellite navigation as well as wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto mirroring are included with this system.
Heated seats, dual-zone climate control, and a wireless phone charger are the other features offered standard in the entry-level Ti grade. Moving to the Veloce adds leather sports seats, aluminium shift paddles, and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
A sunroof is also an option on both models, and comes at a $2700 premium over the purchase price.
The same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine is shared across the Ti and Veloce grades of Stelvio, producing 206kW and 400Nm. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
The only difference between the Stelvio Ti and Veloce on the powertrain front is a limited-slip differential added to the latter on the rear axle.
