Just 37 examples of the X3 and X4 Frozen Edition will come to Australia with exclusive deep grey paintwork and BMW Individual trim
BMW has expanded its X3 and X4 midsize SUV range with the release of a very limited, 37-example Frozen Edition set to touch down in Australia in the second quarter of 2022, priced from $142,900 driveaway.
X3 and X4 spotters will pick up the Frozen Edition mainly due to its Deep Grey metallic paint outside, while the interior plays host to a range of subtle changes.
Other key features include an M Shadow line kidney grille in gloss black, carbon fibre mirror caps, rear boot spoiler finished in carbon fibre, M Sport brakes painted red and protective sun glazing.
Leather Vernasca upholstery in black with red stitching, Sensatec instrument panel featuring contrast red stitching, M seat belts and M interior trim with carbon fibre all feature on the inside of the Frozen Edition X3 and X4.
Both X3 and X4 are fitted with the same turbocharged straight-six engine as a ‘regular’ M40i which produces 285kW of power and 500Nm of torque. These figures are unchanged for the Frozen Edition.
The X3 M40i Frozen Edition costs $142,900 driveaway while the coupe-bodied X4 M40i Frozen Edition is priced at $152,900 driveaway.
Both cars can sprint to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds and will drink 8.9-litres/100km on the combined fuel cycle.
Just 37 examples (17 X3s and 20 X4s) will be available in Australia, so for those interested, now would be the time to contact your local BMW dealership.
Vehicle reservations for the Frozen Edition open today via the BMW Shop with the new exclusive models set to arrive in Australia in the second quarter of 2022.
All prices listed are before on-road costs.
