With 2021 marking 100 years since Suzuki went global, the company has decided to cook up a special edition of its most popular model to celebrate.
Suzuki has announced the 2021 Swift 100 Year Anniversary Edition that adds a slew of styling and equipment upgrades with just 100 units available in Australia.
Based on the popular entry-level Swift GL Navigation, the special edition gains a slew of exterior upgrades including a black stripe decal along the side that corresponds with a black roof spoiler and a carbon fibre-style decal on the front bumper
The Swift 100 Year Anniversary Edition is available in either Speedy Blue and Burning Red that are both matched to a black roof for a two-tone look.
Under the bonnet sits a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 66kW of power and 120Nm of torque, which doesn’t seem like much until you realise the Swift is one of the lightest cars on the market with a 900kg in kerb weight.
Suzuki has paired the motor with a CVT automatic transmission as standard on the Swift 100 Year Anniversary Edition, which has been priced at $24,990 driveaway.
The Swift GL Navigator-based special edition misses out on features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert available on higher grades but retains a reversing camera and daytime running lights for added peace of mind.
All Suzuki models are offered with a five-year unlimited-kilometre warranty with capped price services also offered for five years or 100,000kms.
Buyers can place their order for the Swift 100 Year Anniversary Edition as of April 1, 2021.
All the prices listed below are the estimated driveaway price.
