The MY24 Amarok ute will be more expensive than what it was in 2023 and will now start from $55,490 before on-road costs
Volkswagen Australia has announced its pricing for its MY24 Amarok range, with the model now up to $3000 more expensive.
For buyers, the cost of entry into an Amarok is now $55,490 before on-road costs for the Core TDI405 automatic, which is $2500 more expensive than in 2023.
Pricing reaches as high as $82,990 before on-road costs for the flagship Amarok Aventura, which was previously priced at $79,990 before on-road costs.
For 2024, the Amarok range will gain a brake controller as standard, while the Amarok Core variant will now feature blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard.
The Volkswagen Amarok competes with the likes of the mechanically-related Ford Ranger and the formidable Toyota Hilux in Australia’s dual-cab ute market.
Despite price increases for MY24 Amaroks, Volkswagen Australia is pushing several runout driveaway deals for existing MY23 Amarok stock, with the popular Style TDI600 now priced at $72,990 driveway.
Meanwhile, MY23 Core utes have been priced at $54,990 driveaway, and the MY23 Life priced at $58,990 driveaway.
The German automaker has also announced that Amarok Core, Life and Style driveaway deals will also include five years of servicing.
Volkswagen has confirmed that these MY23 offers have been extended until March 31, 2024.
