Finance a new 1.4-litre Golf with Volkswagen and the brand will throw in three years of servicing as a sweetener
Australian buyers purchasing a 2022 Volkswagen Golf who choose to finance the vehicle with Volkswagen Financial Services before the end of September this year will receive three years of free servicing – valued at $1450.
Volkswagen will throw in a three year Care Plan – the brand’s parlance for a servicing package – that provides 45,000km of scheduled maintenance across 36 months. The intervals are 12 months/15,000km.
The offer only applies to the 1.4-litre versions of the Golf in Australia, being the Golf Life hatchback ($35,290) and Life wagon ($37,290), plus the sporty Golf R-Line that is sold only as a hatch ($38,490).
Volkswagen’s athletic Golf GTI hot hatch ($54,490) is not included in the offer, nor is the forthcoming all-wheel drive Golf R ($65,990 in hatch, $68,990 in wagon).
A three year/45,000km Care Plan normally costs $1450 for a 1.4-litre Golf model, and can still be purchased outright for buyers who don’t plan to finance the vehicle with Volkswagen Financial Services.
A five year/75,0009km Care Plan costs $2400 on the Golf 1.4-litre, or $2800 for the 2.0-litre Golf GTI and Golf R.
The $35K Golf Life includes the following kit:
Volkswagen’s IQ safety assistance suite is included range-wide, taking in AEB, reversing AEB, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors and a reversing camera.
Paying the additional $3200 premium for the Golf R-Line adds the following equipment:
All prices listed are before on-road costs.
